The Clubhouse Facilities
Morpeth Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club is located within the grounds of Longhirst Hall, 2 miles north of the historic market town of Morpeth. Surrounded by protected woodland, with a ‘sun trap’ of a beer garden and adjoining a large grassed playing area, it is the ideal setting for any event. From quiet drinks with your family, to a catch up with friends, to even larger events such as a birthday parties, Christenings, a celebration of life or a wedding.
There is ample space for structures such as Marquees and the area is suitable for barbeques.
Inside...
The bar and lounge area has been recently refurbished and is available for private hire as a function room. Maximum indoor function numbers are approximately 70 and is serviced by a well-equipped kitchen. The room also has a PA system, can cater for live events, has a large flat screen TV and a big screen projector. The patio doors lead directly onto the grassed playing area, cricket pitch and beer garden.
The bar accepts all types of credit/debit cards as well as Google and Apple Pay.
Outside...
The spacious and sunny beer garden offers a relaxed and friendly environment for a quiet hot or cold drink from our wide range. Space available for small gazebos to be erected - it is the North East of England after all!
The bar and lounge host several events throughout the year and is available for private hire and as a public bar. The Club has a reputation for quality street food vendors being present on occasional Friday/Saturday with all information, along with bar opening hours, posted on our Social Media pages
Currently the lounge bar is open to the public at the following times:
Fridays - 17:00 - 20:00
Saturdays - 12:00 – 18:00
These times are subject to change depending on the weather or a late running Cricket Match. Any changes will be posted on our social meda ASAP
