We have invested in new facilities which will be started in May 2021. The new outdoor net facility will be among the best in the County.
We are also one of a few clubs who have two squares, one for seniors and U15s the other solely for juniors so there is room for everyone.

ABOUT US
Welcome to Morpeth Cricket Club. We are based in the grounds of Longhirst Hall just north of Morpeth. You'd be hard pushed to find a better place to spend the afternoon watching cricket. We have a thriving junior section of all abilities with teams from U9-U19. The junior teams are for both boys and girls, and we also have a women and girls softball section.
Come and join us! We are always welcoming to new cricketers of all abilities and are proud of the inclusive, family friendly atmosphere at the club.
We are an All Stars Cricket centre (5-8yo), a Dynamo's Cricket Centre (for girls up to 11yo)
We have two Saturday teams, 1st and 2nds, as well as a Mid Week team and a Sunday friendly team
SENIOR CRICKET
Our Seniors and U15's train on Tuesdays from 6-8pm
Ist and 2nd team play on Saturday afternoons, the Mid Week team play on Thursday evenings and the Sunday friendly team on Sunday afternoons
JUNIOR CRICKET
Our Junior training is on Friday evenings at Longhirst 6-7:30pm. Email morpethcc100@gmail.com or just come along the first session is always free for new starters. All our coaches are ECB qualified, some to Level 3, have up to date safeguarding, DBS and first aid.
Matches for U9's-U13's are played on a Sunday, U15's on a Monday evening.
Morpeth CC have made huge efforts in developing our juniors. We encourage them to play for the senior teams when appropriate.
Our former Chair Rod Rogers was a huge advocate of junior cricket. Juniors are the future of our club and we give them every opportunity to play at the best level for them.

WOMEN & GIRLS CRICKET
Our women and girls softball training is on Thursday Evenings 6-7:30pm
We play in softball festivals around the county, normally on a Sunday afternoon.
